Amazing! Husband and I stopped on our way north on I-55 and had to give it a try. SO glad we did! We each had a Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich with tater tots. Though this sounds like a simple dish, the flavors were wonderful. Our server had us try their cheese sauce with our tater tots - Heaven! Would definitely recommend checking out The Caddy Shack if you're ever in the area and looking for something delicious and delightful!

This was an wonderful discovery. I was on a bit of a road trip, driving from Chicago to St Louise and the conversation of lunch came up. Thank goodness for Yelp as the only way to find some authentic to an area as we would have never found a more authentic and true to rural Illinois as we found at Caddyshack. Food was wonderful and a great place to have a beer and enjoy Southern Illinois.
I've been coming to Caddyshack for several years. I should of left a raving review along time ago. Every time the service, food and drinks are top notch!
The only bar in the town that serves food. It's a small little restaurant but has a nice charm. The food is exceptional pub food. I'd recommend the chicken strip ponyshoe. Good bar selection and is one of the few bars in the area that take Visa cards! Four stars because sometimes the place can have a heavy grease smell. Again, it's a small place with poor ventilation.
Heard about the great fish had to try for ourselves. Fish was great, waitress was terrible. Observed a family waiting for a table, waitress never acknowledged them. Table opened, family stood next to table waiting for it to be cleaned. Waitress cleaned table and again never acknowledged them. Customer service at its worst. Review rating based on food definitely not service.
Great roadside stop! We were passing through on our way to St. Louis & looking for a "Horseshoe" sandwich. We were not disappointed! Big portions at a reasonable price & friendly service made us glad we came.
